There are many ways you can help children in your community. A local area organization needs your help. You can support parents, grandparents, friends and family. Volunteer and make a difference in the life of the child who needs your skills and talents. You have the experience, why not share it with a youngster?
Project Learn - This integrated after-school and summer technology learning enhancement experience consists of Homework Help and Tutoring as well as High-Yield Learning and Leisure Activities using traditional teaching and learning methodology. Volunteers are needed for tutoring and helping members with homework.
Arts - From performing to visual art this program helps members to express their creativity. The program offers pottery, choir, bucket drumming, piano lessons, photography, and craft projects. Volunteers are needed to work with the youth members.
Keystone and Torch Clubs - It is extremely important that we teach our members and especially our teens the importance of community service and caring for others. This program stresses these values. Volunteers are needed to attend meetings and work with pre-teen and teen members in regard to the program activities.
Sports and Fitness - The program offer basketball, baseball, softball, tennis and football, as well as non-traditional sport programs. Volunteers are needed to assist with these programs.

The Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Volunteers of America provides volunteer opportunities for individuals 55 years and older to use their skills, insight and lifetime experiences to assist residents and non-profit agencies in the county. RSVP also offers a variety of programs which provide services and enhance the quality of life for seniors.
