Volunteer Pickup Driver
Denver Inner City Parish
Summary of the Position:
Volunteer will provide pickup of food from various locations in the Metro Denver Area on Saturday mornings and transport DICP. Driver will need to use DICP's box truck to pick up donations, so volunteers need to have experience driving large vehicles (no CDL required) and a good driving record. Ability to lift boxes of 40+ pounds regularly is required. Time is from 7:30am to about 11:00am. Consistent commitment of at least 2-3 Saturdays a month is required.
This opportunity will help DICP's food pantry as we seek to continue serving our community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Please note that we can sign off on community service hours for school or housing, but we cannot complete court-ordered community service.
