Volunteers needed to help with program activites Monday through Saturday:
Crafts - Arts and crafts are part of our daily activities.
Games - Come play with us- bingo, ring-toss, dominos and cards are just a few of the many games we play daily. Perhaps you can teach us some new games.
Gardening - Have a green thumb? Many of our participants love having someone help them tend the flowers that are planted outside and in the sun porches.
Breakfast, snack & lunch time - help our participants enjoy their morning or afternoon snacks, or assist them at breakfast or lunch time.
Adopt-a-friend - Enjoy time talking and sharing special moments with our participants. They really like to make new friends, and soon you'll be part of our family.
Physicial exercise - Help participants with bands, chair aerobics, weights and parachute ball.
Stretch & stroll - Stretch with our participants and then accompany them on a stroll throughout the Center.
Music sing along - Bring your instruments and join our participants during several of their favorite times of day.
Story-telling or reading - Bring your own stories or we can provide them.
We are open Saturdays!
Share a pet or a hobby - Tell us about a recent trip . . . give a manicure . . . play an instrument... juggle, hum, yodel . . .your skills and talents are welcome. Please feel free to share your expertise with us.

Mission Statement
Circle Center Adult Day Services is a private, non-profit, community-based program that provides care for older adults who are frail and impaired, and provides support to their caregivers. Services and activities are structured to improve the participant's physical, cognitive, and mental capabilities. The caregiver, knowing their loved one is safe and supervised, gets respite and time for other responsibilities.
Description
- An individualized multidisciplinary care plan for each participant including cognitive, emotional, physical and health related needs.
- Daily nursing supervision.
- Coordination of care with other service providers including physicians, rehabilitation, and transportation.
- Individual and group activities that support cognitive and physical functioning and promote social interaction.
- Evaluation of activities of daily living at intake, and continual monitoring and assistance with participant care needs.
- Counseling for both caregivers and participants regarding personal adjustments and life changes.
- Ongoing education and consultation for caregivers.
- Breakfast, lunch and two snacks provided daily. Will accommodate special diets and tube feedings, with ongoing assessment to determine changing needs.
- Alarm system on all doors and enclosed patio area for safety. Building is also fully sprinklered.
- Montessori-based specialized program for dementia participants.
- SNOEZELEN, a program that offers a multi-sensory environment to promote positive behaviors.
- A wellness program with dedicated staff and space to address participant balance, strength, endurance/stamina, flexibility, and overall optimal function in daily activities.
