Our squadron is looking for someone to be the Public Affairs Officer. Duties would require the candidate to possess above average writing skills, preferably experience in writing articles for the media. Photography and web design/development skills are also a big plus. The job is to promote our organization and our unit to members of the community, liaison with local politicians and military units, attend all major CAP events in the area, maintain the squadron newsletter and website and develop new public affairs programs.

No special experience is necessary, but desire to do a great job at this is.

We have a training program, but most of it is self-run, so the position requires one to be self-motivated.
