The Y is for Social Responsibility. That's why we are committed to supporting our neighbors and providing opportunities for kids, adults and families to get involved in their community.
Through our volunteer and mentor programs, service projects, advocacy and other community programs, the Anaheim Family YMCA unites people around the importance of giving back.
SWIM, SPORTS AND PLAY (basketball, gymnastics, cheer, dance, musical theater and more!)
* Coach, Referee, Class Instructor, Swim Assistant Instructor
ANAHEIM ACHIEVES AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM (elementary, jr. high, high school)
*Mentor and Enrichment Provider, Tutor, Help Out at Special Events
EARLY LEARNING READINESS (school readiness program for infants-5year olds)
*Assistant to the Facilitator, Lead in Reading, Art, Music, Science and Math Activities
CAMP FOX AND CAMP MIEHANA (resident day camps)
*Leader, Counselor in training, Junior Leader in training
Y SPECIAL EVENTS (Read Across America, KaBOOM! Playground Build, Anaheim Achieves Showcase, etc.)
*Lead and engage kids and families in activities, oversee different stations, manage booths and registrations
