We need people to feed cats, give them fresh water, change litter boxes and bedding, and wash cages. All of our cats also need socialization and play time. Each shift helps with general shelter maintenance as well (e.g., laundry, dishes, sweeping floors, replenishing supplies).
Ability to commit to coming in every Tuesday morning (rain or shine) is a requirement.
Previous experince with cats and an ability to work well in a team environment are important.

Description
All animals at Quincy Animal Shelter are spayed or neutered, microchipped, tested for common diseases (heartworm, etc.) and up-to-date on vaccinations. We always needs volunteers to walk dogs, feed cats, clean kennels and cat cages, help with laundry and dishes, administrative and fund-raising.
