The Friends of the Alameda Library volunteers staff the cafe at the main library.
Volunteers maintain the cafe, stock newspapers for cafe customers, and sell coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. Short shifts, flexible scheduleing, an opportunity to talk to your friends and neighbors. The cafe is highly valued by library users!
