We are now recruiting volunteers to help low income families within our community to save on expensive tax preparation services. Volunteers are needed to serve as Tax Preparers, Greeters/Screeners, Tranlators. Our Tax preparation season runs from mid-January to mid-April. The IRS will provide free on site training for all Tax Preparer volunteers and we will assist you with the IRS certification process. We have 6 locations across the Northern Virginia area with flexible schedule and hours. Last year , we help over 2,000 families and individuals in the Northern Virginia area and brought back over 3 million dollars in federal refunds.
