Work with local chapter of fast-growing international organization to pass game-changing clean energy legislation. * Join like-minded friends in CCL activities including contacting and meeting with Members of Congress or staff, writing letters to the editors of local newspapers, planning outreach activities to educate the community and recruiting new CCL members * Attend or host (with your group at a home or community venue) monthly national conference calls and learn from expert speakers. * Educate Congress and the public about global warming and legislative solutions. Make the verbal and written case for specific action items. * Learn, improve and actively use communication and civics skills to address current climate change issues. * Opportunity for college or university internship (unpaid).

CCL empowers everyday people to work with their community and their members of Congress on climate change solutions. Our supporters cover the political spectrum and work in more than 450 local chapters. Together, we’re building support for big solutions to climate change.
At CCL, our volunteers do the most important work of our organization. They make meaningful contributions towards our mission every day. As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to put your unique skills to good use to solving climate change. Our lean staff provides you with the tools, training and organization you’ll need to be a successful climate advocate.
