During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
If you want to make a valuable contribution to your community, consider assisting the Mountlake Terrace (Concern for Neighbors) Food Bank as a donation pick up volunteer.
You ride with the driver, picking up food from grocery stores. This is a Tuesday morning job starting about 7:30am and finishing around 11:00am.
There is a physical aspect to this;
a) you would be getting in and out of the van
b) putting the donated food into boxes which may weigh up to 40lbs
c) and loading the boxes into the van.
It's a good way to get some exercise AND help your neighbors. Best of all, you are with a partner.
