ORGANIZATION: The Boulevard: The Road to Health and Home

Purpose: The overall goal is to equip residents with the knowledge and skills to be able to manage their own lives in a healthy and effective manner once they leave the facility.

  • Respecting Yourself and Others

The Healthy Living Skills Facilitator needs to have significant experience in leading groups and in working with people who present a variety of physical, mental, and emotional issues.

This position works well with professionals between jobs and professionals who are retired but active.

Description

The Boulevard is a medical respite program designed specifically to address the challenges faced by homeless adults often discharged from hospitals with no place to recuperate. We aid these individuals in completing their medical recovery and stabilization, begin to address the root causes of their homelessness, and find stable housing.
