Hearthstone Housing Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to providing service-enriched affordable housing for low income families, the elderly, and the disabled throughout California and Washington State.
We are looking for knowledgeable volunteers to present on a variety of topics from health care to financial literacy in order to promote positive, healthy lifestyles. If you have a project or any community service in mind that could benefit our residents, we’d love to hear from you!
Some services offered in the past have been:
-Fire safety
-Health screenings
-After school programs
-Neighborhood watch
-College preparation

Our mission is carried out by: Joint venturing with private developers to build quality housing in areas of need. Coordinating property management and services for residents to promote self-sufficiency and independence. Assisting with pre-development phases of affordable housing such as tax credit application and tax-exempt bond application processing. Advocacy on behalf of low income seniors, families and the disabled Support for programs which promote the development of affordable housing
