The gardens decorating the main office of the Rockefeller State Park Preserve feature a variety of plants and landscaped beds. The garden features over 200 Japanese Tree Peonies, donated by the town of Yatsuka, Japan after 9/11. The magnificent garden is managed entirely by a very dedicated corp. of volunteers. The garden could not be sustained without thier efforts.

The Volunteer Garden Corp. is currently looking for additional members- people who love working with plants, love the outdoors, and can dedicate regular hours to garden work. Work crews most comonly meet in the Spring and Fall. Work days are scheduled about twice per month on average. Additional days are scheduled as needed.

Please contact for further information and additional schedules.
