Volunteers are needed to help distribute items at Kindness Gift Giving Events that take place twice a month at venues such as homeless feeding programs, shelters for women and children, low-income schools, hospital emergency rooms, and low-income clinics for children with special needs. In addition to helping children choose their items, responsibilities include helping to set up before and clean up after event. Volunteers should enjoy interacting with children of all ages. Due to the venues where our program takes place, volunteer opportunities occur mostly on weekdays.

To serve and put smiles on the faces of underprivileged, at-risk, and medically fragile children by providing fun and needed gifts while promoting and teaching kindness and acceptance of all people.
Description
Kindness Gift Giving Events are scheduled twice per month, and include giving out kindness gift packages of toys, along with books, backpacks, school supplies, dental items, snacks and other misc. items. The events take place at low-income schools, homeless feeding programs, hospital emergency rooms and clinics, shelters for women and children, clinics for children with special needs, and other venues where children are living with some type of stressful situation. Due to the venues where the events take place, volunteer opportunities occur mostly on weekdays.
