After-School Volunteers Needed
CitiKidz Out of School & Summer Program is looking for Volunteers to join our team. We are in operation on school days (Monday - Friday) from 1:45pm - 6:00pm with 60 1st-6th grade students in the Allapattah area. Daily activities include: Homework help, snacks, Physical Fitness, literacy, arts, and social skills. The school year begins Monday, August 20, 2018.

Physical Fitness Volunteer: Main responsibilities will be assisting with the daily physical fitness activities using the SPARK curriculum. The ideal Volunteer will have the ability to be physically active with the students, enjoy being outdoors, flexible, team player and able to take direction, aware, punctual, organized, able to lead and give directions, be a role model in speech and action and lead other various after school activities.

Literacy Volunteer: Main responsibilities will be to assisting with the implementation of the reading curriculum and plans each day. The ideal Volunteer should have desire to teach and enjoy reading. He/she should be able to take direction and be part of a team, aware, punctual, organized, be a role model in speech and action, able to lead and give directions and lead other various activities.

Requirements:
reliable personal transportation
reliable phone
able to pass a Level 2 background screening
Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required
Available on School days between the hours of 1:45 - 6pm (Days and times will vary based on your availability)
