Are you a people person? Consider becoming a City Hall Concierge Volunteer; assisting visitors at San Rafael City Hall with directions and other information during a 4-hour shift. Volunteers sit at the information desk (now equipped with a plex shield) in the lobby of City Hall. You do not answer phones or use a computer. Many City functions are now available online so there is not a high volume of visitors. Volunteers can bring something to read or task to do. Potential to help with data entry tasks or other support of City Staff while at the desk. However, we need attentive volunteers to greet visitors and assist them. A volunteer is needed weekly on Thursdays from 8:30am to 12:30.
