A Mentor is a caring adult friend who devotes a minimum of 4 hours per month to a young person. A mentor helps a young person achieve their potential and discover their strengths. The mission of Stay Focused Ministries is to bring hope, healing and renewal through Jesus Christ via relevant outreach ministry to all people but especially inner city youth across America. Stay Focused is a nationwide effort to inspire, encourage and challenge our young people to reach for greatness, to never quit, to never give up and to never let anything stand in the way of becoming everything they were created to be.
Description
Stay Focused is a nonprofit organization that functions as an outreach, community benefit organization. Reach4Greatness is a department of Stay Focused that operates a school-based and community-based mentoring program which matches a caring and qualified adult mentor to a child at risk or high risk to meet at least one hour per week for at least 12months.
