Each year we put together Christmas boxes for each of our 34 women.
This would be a great opportunity for a large group, office, church, etc., to gather donations of new items.
Suggested items to choose from:
Sleepwear, robes and slippers
hats and gloves,
Bath towel sets and body wash.
Socks, stationery
disposable cameras and photo albums
Travel mugs, water bottles
For some of the women who live here, this may be the only Christmas present they will receive.
Please help to make this a holiday season to remember for our residents.

Description
The Beacon of Life is a long term transitional housing facility with a 34 woman capacity. We strive to give women the strength and skills they need to live independently.
The women we serve come from many different backgrounds and individual situations. Some are homeless, other are coming from jails, prison, or other residential treatment programs. We offer many different classes and groups to help these women understand what got them in their particular situations, how to change their behaviors and how to become strong, independent women.
