As a non-profit multi-cultural arts organization we are dedicated to promoting, presenting and preserving the Indigenous cultures of the world through Music, Art, Dance, and Science. We are located in Balboa Park, south from the world famous San Diego Zoo.

We are looking for an Off-site Ambassador to represent WorldBeat Cultural Centers school of music, art, and dance. Its WorldBeat Centers mission to heal and bring together the world with indigenous preforming arts, you are invited to come be an ambassador of peace though art, dance, music and culture.

WorldBeat Cultural Center Off-site Ambassador Responsibilities:

-Attend outreach events as WorldBeat Cultural Center Representative. Must have driver's license and vehicle. Mileage is reimbursed.

-Respond to requests for outreach activities, by phone, email, or in person.

-Create proposals, invoices, client contracts, and artist contracts.

-Serve as artist contact person and point person.

-Collaborate with city schools, private and public gatherings.

-Communicate effectively with Senior Management Team, all details of outreach activities.

-Maintain database of all completed outreach events.

-Obtain letters of support from all schools and organizations.

Requirements:

-Excellent interpersonal skills

-Able to manage multiple projects at once

-Strong self-organization and project management skills

-Belief in humility in the workplace

-Able to receive and successfully implement feedback from supervisor(s)

-Flexible work schedule (outreach activity schedules vary)

*This position is eligible for commission payments.
