TO HELP PROMOTE TOTALLY POSITIVE PRODUCTIONS AND THE PROGRAMS WE OFFER TO THE PUBLIC. IN ADDITION, THE PUBLIC RELATIONS PERSON WOULD WORK CLOSELY WITH THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND ATTEND COMMUNITY MEETINGS ON BEHALF OF THE ORGANIZATION AND CREATE CONTACTS FOR THE ORGANIZATION. MUST BE ABLE TO HELP MARKET EVENTS AND PROGRAMS PRODUCED BY TOTALLY POSITIVE PRODUCTIONS TO COMMUNITY ORGANIZATION, TV, RADIO AND NEWSPAPER.
THE PUBLIC RELATIONS PERSON SHOULD BE FRIENDLY, ON TIME AND LOVE HELPING THE YOUTH. ALSO, MUST BE CREATIVE IN APPROACHING THE PUBLIC ABOUT TOTALLY POSITIVE PRODUCTIONS PROGRAMS

Mission Statement
Totally Positive Productions (TPP) established since 1993, is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) tax- exempt organization located in Chicago, Illinois. Our MISSION is to produce Positive Rap, Singing, Dance, Theater and Spoken Word Talent Competitions as well as produce positive "Off the Street" activities for youth and adults ages seven and up as a deterrent to gang and drug involvement.
Description
Totally Positive Productions (TPP) WAS formed in August of 1993 by the Founder, Mr. Tajudeena Jones, a U.S. Navy Veteran. TPP project Goals are to Support families by providing entertainment, service learning projects and workshops. Involve youth and adults in educational, social and recreational and employment activities. Engage Youth and adults to participate in healthy and supportive activities within their communities as involved leaders and citizens. Educate the youth and adults to develop better reading, writing, comprehending, communication and presentation skills utilizing the performing arts. Interact with youth and adults to create positive thinking in addressing social change.
Totally Positive Productions provides the following programs: After-school/weekend service learning projects, Essay and presentation Competitions, Spoken Word Talent Competitions, Positive Rap, Singing and Dance Talent Competitions, Entertainment Workshop, Educational Resources and Referrals, Dental Smile, Free Cultural Enrichment Trips, Youth Summer Employment and Training, Community Service Hours (Chicago Public Schools and Court System), Senior Training Employment, Love Your Community Campaign and Community Works Crime Prevention. TPP have served over 30,000 youth, adults and families. We received the the 2018 Top Rated Nonprofit organization award by the GreatNonprofit organization. Selected for the 2017 Best of Chicago Award in the Youth Organizations and Centers category by the Chicago Award Program.
