Have fun while spending quality time in nature. Help care for open space as a Trail Patrol Volunteer on the 4,000 acre Puente Hills Preserve. Trail Watch volunteers provide general assistance and information to park visitors, report hazards to appropriate authorities, and advise trail users of rules and regulations.

The Puente Hills Habitat Authority is dedicated to the acquisition, restoration, and management of open space in the Puente Hills for preservation with the primary purpose to protect the biological diversity. The Habitat Authority endeavors to provide opportunities for outdoor education and low-impact recreation.
Description
The Puente Hills Habitat Authority believes it is important that Puente Hills neighborhoods, as well as other local communities are informed of nature's role in the near by urban area. By preserving open space, we are essentially providing homes for wildlife, cleaner air, enhancing watersheds, assisting with economic viability for surrounding communities, and providing a place to invigorate and replenish the human mind, body and spirit.CAUSE AREAS
