Volunteers are always needed and are instrumental in enabling Lifetime Connections Without Walls to impact the lives of older adults in our community!
We need volunteers to help us out with facilitating our coffee talk with seniors. Homebound seniors call in and express thanks for moments, people and incidents in their lives and share stories. We discuss current events, share jokes, read poems.
Volunteer once a week for 60 minutes. Once a week coffee talk session 9:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m. Mondays, Wednesdays or Friday slots available. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Description
Family Eldercare is a nonprofit agency that has been providing services to older adults, people with disabilities, and their caregivers in the Austin, Texas area since 1982. Programs and services include: housing and stability, in-home counseling, guardianship, virtual activities for isolated older adults, service coordination, and our annual summer fan drive.
