Are you a good organizer, comfortable on phone calls, and a quick learner? If so, we would love to hear from you. Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care is looking for the right volunteer to support the Bereavement and Volunteer Coordinators. Their activities are directly linked to patient and family support.
It is essential that bereavement and volunteer records are up to date and in order to meet Medicare requirements. Your job will be to help ensure that will happen.
This includes compiling mailings, running reports based on internal data research, updating volunteer personnel records as needed, and assisting coordinators with follow-up phone calls to families and volunteers. These activities would be completed sometime during normal business hours (8 to 5 Mon thru Fri) at the Compassus office, located at I-25 and Speer.
Hospice is for people who have a life-limiting illness. The program is designed to support patient and family physically, emotionally and spiritually during the end of life journey.
You must have good listening/phone skills, be a team player, and feel comfortable discussing death. Contact Kelly at 720.200.1036 or Kelly.Smith@compassus.com for more info or to apply. Training provided.
