The Court Appointed Special Advocates Program (CASA) uses both professional staff and trained community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children in foster care or children who are abused and neglected. CASA volunteers collect independent information for the Family Court to increase the Court's ability to move children from temporary foster homes to permanent families.

CASA is a program of Mental Health Association of Westchester County, Inc. (MHA). It is also affiliated with New York State CASA Association and the National CASA Association.
