To make communities stronger by connecting generations for mutual benefit. Specifically, we place adults aged 50+ as early literacy tutors in public schools and after-care programs in Novato and San Rafael.


Experience Corps Marin is an innovative non-profit organization that trains and places volunteers aged 50 and older as early literacy tutors in kindergarten-3rd grade. We work in public schools in San Rafael and Novato, CA. Our volunteers tutor students who have been identified by their teachers as needing extra support and mentoring. No experience needed - we provide training and on-site support!
