We are a not for profit located in Fairfield, Ca, working to ensure that Solano County is making the needs of children and families a priority. We are actively recruiting for a volunteer to assist in our accounting department. The volunteer in this position will help the Director of Operations with a variety of the tasks necessary to run a nonprofit business. Tasks assigned may vary and include, but are not limited to:
- assisting with bookkeeping tasks including researching, coding and data entry for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger
- preparing financial and payroll reports
- assisting with contracts and grants management and budgeting tasks
- collecting timesheets and updating excel spreadsheets that track leave for employees
- filing, copying
