la walk 17

Children's Tumor Foundations is excited to announce the 12th Annual LA Walk! We need volunteers who will help us set up, register walkers, clean up, cheer on walkers, and work different booths on the day of the walk. We are asking our volunteers to be at the studio no later than 2:30 pm and we will be done by 8:30pm. We do have a different shift available so please email me. Our other shift is 11:00 am-2:00 pm however this is more for the set up and coordinating of the event. We can work with you also since this is a big event. If you are interesting in volunteering please respond to this add, we always appreciate more volunteers.

The walk is put on by The Children's Tumor Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)(3) medical foundation, dedicated to improving the health and well being of individuals and families affected by the neurofibromatoses (NF).

Neurofibromatosis encompasses a set of distinct genetic disorders that causes tumors to grow along various types of nerves. NF can also affect the development of non-nervous tissues such as bones and skin. Neurofibromatosis causes tumors to grow anywhere on or in the body.

We will honor community service hours. We hope you can join us for this fun day!!
