Volunteers are the HEART of Heartland Hospice! We are looking for special individuals in the Green Bay area to join our growing team of amazing volunteers! Companion Volunteers enrich the lives of our patients through regular visits, which may involve playing games with a patient, enjoying a leisurely stroll outside or just engaging in conversation. Volunteering is flexible and scheduled according to your availability and location. Volunteers have the power to bring the greatest gifts to our patients’ lives... a smile and reassurance that comes with knowing they are genuinely cared for! Description

Heartland Hospice volunteers provide support to terminally ill individuals and their families in residential settings throughout Northeast Wisconsin. A variety of volunteer opportunities are available. Volunteers may serve as visitors to hospice patients in need of a new friend, as relief sitters for hospice caregivers, serve vigil for hospice patients who are actively dying, as bereavement support to families who have lost a loved one, or as clerical volunteers in our De Pere, Wisconsin office.
