Shifts:
- Looking for ongoing weekly commitments anywhere from 2-35 hours. Flexible hours Monday-Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome students, tutors, and visitors to office
- Direct students, tutors, and visitors to appropriate rooms/resources/staff
- Help potential students/tutors complete preliminary paperwork
- Handle incoming phone calls and transfer to appropriate staff
- Perform office tasks such as scanning, copying, filing, shredding, etc
Requirements:
- Volunteers must treat all students, tutors, visitors, and staff with respect and be able to work with people from all walks of life.
- Familiarity with computers and other office technology. Specific training will be provided.

Description
Orange Literacy offers free individualized instruction for adults who want to improve their reading, writing, basic math and English language skills or to prepare for the GED. Orange Literacy matches trained volunteer tutors with adult learners.
