Work on a team of 2-4 volunteers to respond to 9-1-1 emergency medical calls. Learn to operate an ambulance as well as the equipment carried in it. Provide community education in health and safety topics.
All training and uniforms are provided.

Mission Statement
The Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad provides 24-hour emergency medical services, emergency and non-emergency ambulance transportation, community training in CPR, first aid, health and safety topics.
Description
The Summit Volunteer First Aid Squad is an independent non-profit corporation staffed entirely by volunteers and supported solely through private contributions. Although it is the official EMS agency for the City of Summit, the First Aid Squad is not a City agency, and is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees.
