Position Title:
Volunteer Management Team Staff Health & Support Specialist. Ensures effective involvement of volunteers by reviewing, evaluating and updating DSHR records of volunteer staff. This includes reviewing DSHR members Health Status Records, updating and noting any waivers or exceptions and exhibiting strong clinical judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review DSHR member's Health Status Record
- Use the Physical Capacity Grid
- Complete the Health Status Record Review Summary Sheet
- Review Pre-Assignment Health Questionnaires
Training:
- New Employee and Volunteer Orientation
- Fulfilling our Mission : Translating Your Compassion Into Community Action
- Recommended: Serving the Diverse Community, Working Together-Building Volunteer and Employee Teams
- On-going training as deemed necessary
