Position Title:

Volunteer Management Team Retention & Career Development Specialist. Ensures effective involvement of volunteers by evaluating the chapter's volunteer database, implementing development plans and recommending training courses necessary to meet the needs of the volunteers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review DSHR files for the chapter's volunteers
  • Determine the volunteer's desired career path and training necessary to fulfill this need
  • Develop a plan for the volunteer to be successful in his or her desired career path
  • Assist volunteers with keeping abreast of must current guidance
  • Assist the Recognition Specialist with ongoing, purposeful recognition of volunteers
