The Recognition Specialist is responsible for leading the effor to recognize volunteers' contributions to upholding the mission of the American Red Cross.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in rcord keeping of volunteer's performances and evaluations
- Keep in contact with volunteer's by phone and email
- Give encouragement and recognition to volunteers regarding their time given to the Red Cross and their performance in relation to their duties, their assignments and their jobs
- Appoint recognition committee to assist in the planning and execution of an annual volunteer recognition event
- Develop and implement a monthly/quarterly recognition program
- Assist in the development of a spontaneous volunteer management plant and implement during times of large scale disasters
