VOLUNTEER POSITION DESCRIPTION

Title: Orlando Conversation Cafe Chairperson

Initial Impact:

Help HI Florida communicate with Florida members, National members, and travelers to Florida

Sustainable Outcome:

More travelers aware of HI USA

Increase in interest in hostels in Florida

Training and Support:

HI USA Volunteer Orientation

Weekly check-ins over course of project

Qualifications:

Familiarity with hostels and hostelling; travel experience.

Time Commitment:

Estimated 10 hours over one month for initial set-up

2 hours in reading volunteer manual and communicating about project

HI-USA brings together community members to share the importance of travel and hostelling by hosting travel talks, travel classes and other fun events.

HI-USA volunteers will be vital contributors to the future of hostelling by providing innovative ideas, resources, and serving as hostelling ambassadors in their local communities."
