CASA volunteers advocate for the needs of infants, toddlers, children and young adults who have been abused or neglected. Volunteers develop a relationship with their assigned child/youth, gather information about the case and make recommendations to the juvenile court. Thirty-six hours of initial training is provided.
All interested community members are encouraged to attend an Information Session to learn more about CASA. CASA has a particular need to increase the number of male volunteers and bi-lingual, bi-cultural volunteers.
