Would you like to be a friendly face or voice for homeless individuals seeking needed resources? Founded in 1983, Jubilee Women's Center provides safe and affordable community housing and support services to help women transition out of homelessness and into independent living. We are currently seeking Front Office Volunteers to help out just 2 to 4 hours once a week to: Greet visitors, answer & return phone calls Provide information about Jubilee to homeless individuals inquiring about housing and give applications to those eligible Connect all homeless individuals calling in with referrals to local resources they need (such as food, shelter, clothing) Accept clothing donations for our free clothing boutique and give donors tax receipts Offer administrative help to staff (mailings, special projects) Commit to at least 6 months Call (206) 957-5512 or email volunteer@jwcenter.org to receive a Volunteer Application or download it from our website at www.jwcenter.org.
