ICIU is looking for Home Hosts for Tajikistan Veterinarians for Livestock group.
ICIU's Community Connections is a program through the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Participants come to the host community for 22 days of professional development and networking, as well as for cultural exposure to America.
One of the most valuable aspects of this program are Home Stays with local residents!
Who: Tajikistan Visitors, Veterinarians for Livestock Program.
When: July 31st - August 7th and August 9th - August 19th.
Hosts may choose to have one or more of the 13 participants. Hosts may a ccommodate the visitors only for a portion of the program (minimum of 3 nights preferred).
Duties include:
* Hosting the visitor(s) overnight,
* Helping to get them to and from the Quality Inn and Suites in the mornings and evenings
* Providing dinner and breakfast.
Several fun events will be planned with the group as a whole

Multilingual Resources for New Iowans, Refugees and Immigrants - Welcometoiowa.org and a free 24/7 Statewide Emergency Interpretation Hotline.
Interpretation and Translation Services - professional interpretation and document translation.
The Sehgal Foundation International Visitors Center - we host more than 130 global leaders annually for professional exchanges and local hosting opportunities.
