Help members of your community access free literacy services. According to the National Center for Education Statistics most recent study, one in six Yolo residents cannot read and write sufficiently to carry out day-to-day activities at work and home. Outreach Advocates publicize Yolo Reads adult literacy program by visiting local businesses, agencies and community centers in and around Winters to talk about Yolo Reads and distribute flyers.
Visit the Yolo Reads web page to learn more about this program of the Yolo County Library.
