AseraCare Hospices of Omaha and Beatrice are currently experiencing a high need for volunteers for our patients in the Nebraska City area - an area we jointly serve. Our patients live in nursing homes as well as in their own homes in the area. Volunteers provide respite support for families or simple friendly visits to patients to reduce loneliness at this difficult time. We also utilize our volunteers to sit by the bedside during the final hours when the family is not available and wishes their loved one have someone with them.

Description
AseraCare is a family-centered hospice. We provide hospice services to patients and their families in the place they call home - in their apartment or house, assisted living or nursing home. Our services include RN case management, home health aid visits, social work, spiritual care, volunteers, and bereavement support for the families.

- We'll bring training to you! No driving to Omaha or Beatrice - the two offices supporting this area
