Our Therapy Horses Grazing in the Pasture

Opportunity available for experienced horse people to assist with the conditioning and exercise of our therapy horses 1-2 days a week. This includes lunging, turnout, hand-walking, and some riding as time permits.

Proficiency as a hunt-seat (English) rider with a minimum of 6+ years experience riding is required.

Description

Horses of Hope Oregon (HOH) provides equine assisted therapeutic riding for people with challenges. We serve clients in the Greater Willamette Valley and 9 surrounding counties in the State. HOH, founded in 1988, is the longest, continuously operating equine therapy center in Oregon. We offer equine-assisted therapy, empowerment through equines - an independent therapeutic riding program, Hippotherapy, and Horsemanship for the general public.
