Bus staff


Volunteers with great communication and customer service skills are needed to help at blood drives in the local community. Stanford Blood Center travels to local companies, hospitals, schools etc. for mobile blood drives.

Volunteers assist with post donation needs by monitoring volunteer blood donors for signs of reactions in the canteen area, alerting nursing staff when needed and serving refreshments to aid in donor recovery. Volunteers spend time meeting and talking to our donors during this critical time.

Mobile drives are held all throughout the Bay Area. Most mobiles are in Santa Clara and San Mateo County, but we do go as far as San Francisco, the East Bay and Santa Cruz.
Shift signups are flexible, and based on your availability. We are currently looking for weekday availability.
Shifts range from 4-6 hours
Must be fully vaccinated
must be 16+
Background check required
Health clearance through our Occupational Health Center is required
Must have your own transportation to and from the mobile
