Work on trail maintenance, park improvements and repairs with other volunteers and park staff. No training necessary. Heavy lifting is involved. We offer 3 trail crews, which work up to 6 hours per work day:
- Willow Creek Trail Crew: meets at 9 AM every 1st Wednesday of the month
- Armstrong Redwoods SNR/Austin Creek SRA Trail Crew: meets at 9 AM every 2nd Wednesday of the month
- Sonoma Coast SP Trail Crew: meets at 9 AM every 3rd Wednesday of the month

Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods promotes, protects and restores your State Parks.
Description
Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods is an environmental non-profit that works in partnership with California State Parks in the Russian River Sector of the Sonoma Mendocino Coast District to provide public and school education, stewardship, and citizen science programs. We also help operate Austin Creek State Recreation Area; maintain and revitilize State Park visitors centers and historic sties, including Pond Farm Pottery; acquire and restore natural habitats on park lands; and support vital advocacy efforts.
