People Making a Difference (PMD) seeks to create a world in which people and businesses are socially aware and engaged in their communities such that they approach volunteerism by learning about problems and needs, becoming familiar with local charities that are working to address them, volunteering, and providing other needed resources to make a difference.

CORPORATE GROUP VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

If you represent a corporate volunteer group, email Lori@pmd.org (or call 781-963-0373) for details about our full-service, customized volunteer opportunities that make a real difference and build camaraderie, teamwork, etc. PMD's clients include Blue Cross Blue Shielf of MA, Novartis, Fidelity, and EMC, who have made blankets for needy children; assembled book folders to help mentors teach struggling children to read; assembled Lego science kits to strengthen basic science education for high schools; cooked and shared meals with frail elders; assembled Braille books to improve literacy of blind people; and other needed activities customized for each corporate volunteer group.
