ReUse volunteers keep the store tidy by organizing, pricing,
ReUse Center volunteers help keep the store tidy by organizing and sorting donated items; in addition to assisting with customer service.

Come alone or with a small group (5 volunteers*) to help organize and maintain Recycle Ann Arbor's ReUse Center. At the ReUse Center, we accept and sell donations of used building materials, household items, appliances and furniture- think of a thrift store. We need YOUR help to keep all of this great stuff neat, orderly, clean and unbroken!

Customer service is also a MUST for our organization so those who are outgoing, personable, and ready to lend a hand to customers are greatly appreciated.

*Groups of 3-5 volunteers only. Can not currently accommodate larger groups. Please call ahead to see if we are able to schedule a group volunteer event.

Please call ahead (734-222-7880) to see what volunteer need we have for the day. Store hours vary on weekdays versus weekends. Closed on Monday. Must be 18 or older.

Description

Recycle Ann Arbor (RAA) is a non-profit recycling organization that operates the Drop-Off Station (DOS), the ReUse Center, Zero Waste Special Events, the Recovery Yard Facility and the Curbside Recycling program for Ann Arbor residents and businesses.

Several different volunteer opportunities exist (in many of these divisions) depending upon your skills, interest, and schedule.
