(Team Leader, 5-8 hours per week)

We are seeking volunteers to help with the Trap-Neuter-Return program. Volunteer opportunities include: coordinating trap loans, assisting with trapping and transport of cats to surgery, training caretakers on trapping techniques and safety, as well as liasing with the community to address concerns about feral cats. In 2016 we TNR'd over 300 feral cats in Franklin County and our goal for 2017 is to spay/neuter 400 more! Must be a reliable team player who is comfortable with the outdoors and working in rural areas.

Description

The SPCA of Franklin County is a registered 501c3, non-profit organization. We help pet owners help their pets through low cost spay/neuter services, low cost vaccination and microchip clinics, a pet food pantry, and animal care educational programs for the community.
