Summer is here and that means we have lots of little ones running around the shelter!
We are looking for businesses or groups to sponsor an outing for our residents and their children. Possibilities could include a day at the zoo, science museum, or children's museum. We welcome any ideas you have!
Additionally, we would love to have sponsoring businesses on-site to run small parties at the shelter for the residents and their children. Bring an ice cream machine, popcorn, games, etc. Any extra activities for the survivors we serve are greatly appreciated.
Volunteers are all required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Description
Women's Advocates is a safe place where battered women and their children can escape domestic violence. In addition to providing shelter, Women's Advocates provides advocacy, personalized support (including mental health therapy and aftercare services), education, and resources for nearly 1,000 women and children every year. The first shelter in the nation for battered women and their children, Women's Advocates opened its doors in 1974. Women's Advocates welcomes women and children of all backgrounds and cultures.
