TCAA's Food Pantry receives donations from many retailers and sites. Pick-up Assistants provide critical assistance to the Food Pantry Coordinator by picking up food donations at stores & restaurants in the Tempe area and bringing them back to TCAA's Food Pantry site.
Hours flexible depending on location & day of the week Range from 6:30am-1pm, Monday through Friday. Monday mornings are currently highest need.

TCAA provides education, stability, and advocacy to working poor families, children, seniors, and the homeless.
Description
TCAA is Tempe's primary "safety net", providing basic needs and emergency assistance for low income and elderly community members, while encouraging self-reliance. The Community Action Program provides rent / utility assistance, food boxes, career services, cooking on a budget, community garden, homeless prevention, and pre-natal services. The Senior Action Program provides social activities, congregate meals, and home delivered meals.
