About Bridges of Light Foundation

Mission Statement

Our objective is to raise money that is distributed specifically for children who have been abandoned, abused or neglected. All money goes directly to helping these children. If we have done our job, these children become young men and women heading off to college to live productive life with mentors who will guide and help them succeed with strength from what they have experienced.

Description

The Bridges of Light Foundation was founded in 2004 to help children in need, specifically children confined to foster care facilities between the ages of 6-18. We provide these children with mentors to help them with everyday issues that arise in a child's life. These children have been abused, abandoned or neglected so they do not have a stable family unless they are adopted. A very small percentage of children are adopted once they move into their teen years. We want to teach these children to stay in school, get a degree and become productive in our community.
