Join us at 701 Center for Contemporary Art!
Interested in the arts and volunteering? We would love to have you here with us at 701 CCA! Located at 701 Whaley Street in the former Olympia community center, in the heart of a historic mill village, 701 CCA is a visual arts organization with an artist-in-residence program and related events like art workshops, opening receptions, dance performances, concerts and poetry readings.
We are currently scheduling gallery monitors for our art exhibits. Gallery monitors open and close the art gallery, greet visitors, oversee the guest register and fulfill basic gallery tasks like processing new memberships. It's a great place to meet interesting people! As a volunteer you will receive basic instruction on gallery procedures and information about current exhibitions.
Are you experienced or interested in marketing, catering or event planning? We always need volunteers to help with our special events and promotions.
In addition, we have opportunities for our volunteers/interns to get experience in fundraising, gallery installation and development as well.
Call us at 803-319-9949 or email us at director701cca@gmail.com to get involved!
