Volunteer Building Homes
Bring a group out to volunteer with Habitat Tucson and help build a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Construction sites utilize volunteers to build homes, community and hope for families in need of decent housing. Specific duties depend on the building stage of the home.

Those duties include: painting, drywall, framing, carpentry, roofing, electrical, plumbing, stucco prep, site clean-up and landscaping.

Instructions and tools are provided on site, no experience is necessary. Volunteers build for a 6 hour shift. Currently, our build days are Monday through Thursday, and we hope to include Saturdays again soon!

Due to social distancing at this time all volunteer orientations are being held online. All volunteers should take an online orientation to commit to 2 days a month at https://forms.gle/6Xg7HpRFe16xvi5U7 . If your looking for one-time please email us at volunteer@habitattucson.org

Habitat for Humanity Tucson is working to build a world where everyone has a decent place to live. We have built over 400 houses in the Tucson area, but there are still thousands of families that need decent, affordable housing. We are truly grateful for every helping hand. Your interest in partnering with us by volunteering in your community is truly appreciated. As a volunteer, you are working with your local Habitat for Humanity to build strength, stability, self-reliance and shelter. At Habitat Tucson, we build homes with the assistance of volunteers. Come join us as a part of a group or as an individual. Construction experience is not required.

We also have daily opportunities at our HabiStore where we sell gently used household goods and building supplies. Volunteers assist with receiving and sorting donated goods, greeting customers, and selling items. All of the proceeds generated from the HabiStore, support the building of more Habitat homes.
